1. Check the main components of hammer mill: the hammer, crushing plate, door and fastening bolts.
2. Carefully check the auxiliary equipment such as the screw feeder, coupling, motor and so on.
3. Check if there are foreign matters in the crushing cavity. If there are blocks or metals, remove immediately.
4. Detect the amount of lubricating oil.
5. If the above tests are verified, send out boot signal, and start up after agreed by the next working procedure.
We must check carefully before starting the hammer mill, which contributes to equipment maintenance. A long-term operation like this can prolongs the service life of hammer mill.
1. After well preparing for booting, you can start the hammer mill and motor. At this point we need to carefully control the current.
2. When the hammer mill is running normally, it's time to feed. Firstly adjust the feeding rate according to material size and hammer mill operation condition. If the material particle is too large or material in the hammer mill is too much, we should reduce the feeding rate properly; Otherwise, increase the feeding rate. In general, the material height should not more than two-thirds of the height of crushing cavity.
3. Make sure the feeding is even, in favor of improving the crushing production. Meanwhile, the material size should be controlled under 120 mm, lest the hammer mill should stall.
